Via the blog Wonkette, I discovered the latest creation of David Horowitz, et al.: Discover the Network: A Guide to the Political Left. This site promises to reveal all the hidden connections between subversive organizations like the Ford Foundation, ACORN, SEIU, and trouble makers like Garrison Keilor.
The site is essentially an updated, post Cold War version of Elizabeth Dilling’s The Red Network: a “Who’s Who” and Handbook of Radicalism for Patriots which was once required reading for conservatives in general and conservative Republicans in particular.
It’s fun to play around on the site. Especially cool are “visual maps” that render the relationships between organizations as a floating spider-web. It’s all very sinister-looking. Why doesn’t the left have one of these for the right wingers?
